Presentation of Gujarat State (India)
General Manager of the company R&PC "RusProMet" LLC Konstantin Stroshkov visited the presentation of Gujarat State (India) on September 17, 2018, one of the organizers of which was the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city of St. Petersburg.
Speakers provided information on the investment potential of the state, which today is widely known as one of India's industrial centers.
In the state of Gujarat, the automobile and petrochemical industries are well developed, the aerospace industry, the metallurgical industry, the production of textiles and jewelry. Today, financial services are one of the developing areas of Gujarat. Also, the state introduces the Japanese idea of the project "Smart City", the main task of which is to create an infrastructure for providing residents with the opportunity to receive digital services.
After the presentation, during the negotiations, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hetal Mehta, as well as the heads of companies: KPMG, iNDEXTb, SETU, Rajiv Engineers and guests of St. Petersburg, showed interest in starting cooperation with OOO NPP RusPromet in the organization of deliveries to India of metal powder for 3d printers made from alloys based on titanium, nickel, cobalt, chromium, as well as semi-finished products from precision, refractory, wear-resistant alloys.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South Gujarat is one of the oldest Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the state. CCI was founded in 1940 and to this day it includes about 8,5 thousand enterprises in the region.
